Why not for You Yourself !!!

We all just saw a Revolution that happened when our entire Nation got up to speak against Corruption. The fight took momentum, the twists and turns happened and we all see where we are now.We Praised the New Gandhi among us and believed in the hopeful fact that this would change so many of those who are Parasites in our Country....Sadly all the parasites are now immune to this agitation as well!

And a New Bug is here Inflation and Petrol Prices. Our Country always boasts of  "Unity in Diversity" , yeah we only see this coming true when Prices of same commodities are different in all the states and the only Unity is within the handful who share the profits. If we talk of Taxes increased in the International Markets for any of the commodities , compensate the prices with increase in items which are not of use to common people. A common person can live without alcohol and cigarettes but Obviously not without food and the basic necessity of Transportation which requires fuel.

The sale of Cars is at an all time high. Everyone wants to feel Luxurious, and True why Not? But what about the Fuel ? Resources are depleting , God only knows how many years will we remain so Luxurious .Our Country is developing at the fastest pace but an Expansion Plan is nowhere concrete.  The gap between the Rich and Poor is increasing and though this is evident in a fast developing nation, the drift is the most troublesome to the Common Man. 

The world has become the screen display in a Google Search now but we have those who are begging on streets . Is this the Expansion we want , Where are we now? When do we get up to stand for Everyday Commodities? Remember the  Jaago Grahak Campaign ! I guess we all have forgotten the simple work thats important- 

 Start from where you stand not where Others do ...

NAADAAN PARINDEY...

Seen the movie or heard the song ? The Words are just how we feel. Torn between the yesterdays and tomorrows , not able to live the present ! 

Every  word  hits you hard –

Kaate chahe kitna paro se hawao’n ko , Khud se naa bach paayega tu….

Tod aasmano ko ,Phoonk de jahaano ko ,Khud ko chhupa naa payega tu

Koi bhi le raasta tu hai tu le hasta,Apne hi ghar aayega tu

The bitter truth is this (Critics both Positive and Negative welcome for all for whats written ahead!). We are like “Trained fools”!  Trained by the past to take on the future. Very few of us live in the present and learn from it. BUT ,  its only a handful who go and pursue “THEIR OWN WAYS”. Rest all get trapped in the vicious circle of this Made up society of Hopes and Assumptions! God give them the power to listen to their “HEARTS CALLING”!!!

Give them the realization of their purpose that they are here for. From the Handful who do go ahead to fulfill their lives their ways are the ones who have lived up to the purpose that they are here on this Earth for. Rest are as the name- Naadaan (Innocent and trapped)!

Be it for Love , Money , Fame, we all are just running to get everything in place ! We get some , we lose some, Do you ever realize why are you in so much pain when you lose? Its because You were asking for it to happen . You were following a path that was not your Hearts Call!!! NOW HOW CAN ONE LIVE WITH THE TEACHINGS WHICH THEY NEVER RELATE TO. OH IT’S SO CRUEL!

 THE HEARTS WAY (THAT IS LIKE THE OASIS!!!!)

Taking it to a Level which is seen to all of us … Why is the World needing to be more and more Spiritual day by day! Alright we do have fraud Spiritual Gurus  I agree. But there are the Genuine lots as well . Well what is subject matter of concern here that We all are Spiritual Beings and with the happenings around us  we are Deaf Ears to the Hearts Calling. We are Seeking to know the Hearts Language but through the outside Words. If with the Goodness within us we do hear our Heart we are programmed by Society to fit it into the False Frame the moment we come back to the real world. So the NAADAAN PARINDEY we remain until the moment of truth strikes us! 

 There is a Kabir’s Doha that I am suddenly reminded-

“ Mala pherat jug beet gaya , phira na man ka pher,

Karka Manka Chodke , Man ka Manka Pher”

So there are these teachings as well of the Past . Are these not what is important ? Or do we want to take up the Stingy Rules and Regulations of Society which is totally Man Made?   

The Start and End to all beings is the same, it’s the Time in between ……Oh Naadaan Parindey, ab to Ghar aa jaa….

Never Ever alone......

A young Child who believed in Fairy Tales,

One day her Man would come and steal her heart away...

She saw her friends feel happiness in Love ,

But she never understood why it never happened  with her....

When she grew up fate played its games,

She came across men to try to find her soul mate....

Not one man who she believed in so strongly,

could make her feel ,the warmth that she dreamt of so dearly....

Her Loneliness was growing in her,

She knew not what to do....

She worked and worked for hours together,

Then the Blooms came in with the changing seasons ,

She could see him , waiting to be abloom....

She ran into his arms , her happiness could not be expressed,

Her life had re-found the meaning that she had long lost in the wilderness....

She realised the bitter truth was not gone,

yet her trust and love in him grew abound.....

This time it was sure,he was her Twin Soul, 

And her Love knew it had reached the right chorus....

When she hardly could have known him,

God gave her a big Blow....

The Bitter truth was showing its face,

In her heart of hearts she knew....

She tried to confront it,

It simply would not let her at ease....

What she knew was,

It has to be given more lease…

She had to speak to her heart ,

and so it was agreed....

It was agreed upon that childhood dreams do come true,

Only that they lasts till time takes its toll...

That she cannot help but let it go,

Just like the first time , when he returned for her to make her aglow….

That She had found her twin soul, just not her Soul Mate....

Often have heard this " There are no free Lunches". What I do not yet understand is how do I relate myself to it? Let me talk to you one on one to see if there is something I can take back on this quote!


If I take it on my Professional Front - Somehow I am ok with the meaning of the quote . I say this cause it has to be true that the people you want work from should not take you for granted. In Business the balance that is needed to handle so many people , it is important to have a code of conduct. The discipline has to be maintained as one staff can relate to the other and there can be a lot of problems. One simple example could be that a Staff is asking for leave very often and if he is never refused , others who are more sincere will have grudges against him and obviously the company . Here the imbalance will be a major problem.


Now if I talk on a Personal Front-here is what is just not getting into me. I am confused by the fact that when you have someone who knows you as a person then why is there a need to believe in the words of the quote" there are no free lunches"? Alright i know these big words of- Self Respect and have a Bit of Mystery . I again say I accept this word if its professionally there , On personal front specially with the one you are closest to, I believe in Equal Respect not Self Respect . Close relationships do not work on Self , Relationships work on Equality. Now ok, Here I should make clear also one thing- I am talking of a Close relationship of a Spouse or the one closest to you and not all of them.I have never believed in the Concept of Arranged marriages but on this some other day.


When a Bond is strong there will be many instances where circumstances bring you to a point where you may act or behave differently than you are in usual times. Obviously , that has to happen. Lets say the Husband has  something very important in the work front and the thought process is totally concentrated in it. Here the wife may see the changes in his behaviour and may also get angry at times that the attention towards her is divided. It is this very time that if she ever understood that her reaction was not wrong but also that she cannot expect attention from her spouse. Infact , if it so happens that the attention is given , it may not be to the best and then there will be more complains. It has to be true the other way round as well and then the Husband needs to understand.


Ok maybe I get a different picture of the quote here . It may also say that the understanding should be mutual. If one understands and the Equal respect exists the Mechanics of the Quote change gears ! They simply mean Respecting the Space both the partners need. 


I guess this is where the present generation is not able to adjust. There is either no space given as infidelity is at an all time high or the space is too much that invariably infidelity comes in.Also the meaning of the Quote does not change for different situations , Personally and professionally. Yes I know its easy to just type these words but having seen it in Healthy relations its the total Trust that matters in the end. But its certainly not going to work if the mistake is never rectified and repeated again and again.


To put the meaning of the Quote in my words I would say  - Never let there be Change with a negative impact to break relations till it can be worked for but  a Change with more Love !!!

There are so many Beautiful things around us which are " Untold, Untouched but yet we Feel them". If just once we take time to look around even when we are driving past to go somewhere ,  we find so many such times when we feel but are we not just driving past!


Life is exactly the same drive. We have to move but we do not have time to make changes in Our path to make it beautiful.


Take a little while to get things just right your way. We certainly have a beautiful life but its our take on it. LIVE HAPPY, BE HAPPY and MAKE OTHERS HAPPY!

A Whirlwind …. Peace Demanded….

The whirlwind of Life where no words could define,

Where the heart says the truth and it conflicts the mind.

Where decisions are taken and tested with time,

Where peace is demanded and does not live by your side.

 When one looks around and a path needs to be decided,

It’s the moment of truth that leads you to the guidance.

It’s the realization of the Life that you want to lead,

Unbiased by every side ,that requires to be treaded.

It requires the courage and confidence in you,

To make the first step work for you.

It requires in you the Will to be at peace,

Or to succumb to the Whirlwind, that drifts you with ease.

There will be not one, but enormous of these,

The times when we let others to lead.

It is such a time when the need arises,

To believe either your Heart or your Mind.

Its this very hour of time when decisions are taken,

To Be yourself or fall in with the other kinds.

Let not the Whirlwind drift you apart,

Make use of the energy it carries,

Where Peace is not demanded

IF I COULD CHANGE.....

Given a choice to change, frankly I went Blank for a while. Then a Question Popped up- Why am I blank?!!!  Is it because I have nothing to change (surely not true I said) or was it too many things that I just did not know Where to start and where to end  it (Now that feels better, Lol!). A Cup of tea, a talk with my heart and my little brain said, “Buddy, you were right when you felt you want  so much to change”! 

Let me very humbly first  let you know that the words below may not be liked by a few of you , some of you may want to stop reading . Some of you are just still reading on and some of you have mixed feelings – Read or Stop reading is running through your mind, Right! Sorry Friends, but this was important to write because- For those who are still reading- this is the change I want to see happen.  It is called “ Patience , Tolerance and Adaptability to Take  Action for the Good to Happen” . Yeah It indeed is a lot of change  and practically impossible to get. But If I say- Can I start with myself now, I am sure that’s a bit of a Relief !

So, we all like to pass the baton to the one who started to think of a change.  This is how it has been 99 out of the 100 times.  But when the 01 time left when people could have like mindedness happened- we saw the revolution take place. Good and Bad both Revolutions. Then be it Hitler, Mahatma Gandhi, Nelson Mandela, or recently, Anna Hazare , Barrack Obama to come in Power…

Sadly Revolution for Good happened less –Example of a good one can be  whenever a Country is given freedom.  But once Freedom Given it cannot be left to the new Government formed or in hands of those few. A Change and a Positive one will only happen if all the people come together to make a New Home for them to live. If we see our Country after Independence , what is there right now?

We are still in a stage of development. With so many Cultures and Traditions and the Caste systems and the mindset of those who treat Humans based on Caste , Religion and the age old rituals, where are we heading towards?  We still have the Girl Child being killed, Literacy rate still not a good picture , Women not Safe to walk the streets alone and dominated by the horrible Stingy Men folk, Terrorism at its highest and going stronger , Youth into addiction and not decisive to take action because we have no Structured system in place. They are in a stage of confusion as when they are growing up they find Goodness has no Value. Parents are the ones who are responsible to inculcate Values in the Children, sadly Parents have no time and the only thing they see around is uncertainty. So we leave Our Children with the Nannies and expect good values to be there in Our Children. It’s so Disgusting to me!

Certainly Good is also happening but we see so much of Bad that Goodness has lost its value . We have to adapt to the New times. We have no choice… Either Change or silently perish but not at the Cost of our  GOOD VALUES. I say GOOD VALUES because I also believe that our parents Values held true in their times and I respect them but I have seen a World my way too. And if I am sure that the Change I want will be a Happy Change even if it takes some time for my parents to accept, I will go ahead.  This is the confidence that is needed in the Youth today. There are Extreme cases too who are too adventurous so they must realize that You can use fire to warm you but you never know when it comes up in flames to burn you! Beware…Excess of Everything is Bad…

Can you trust anyone blindly? Count the ones you can and then the reality strikes in! Even if we have a few names , we are still doubting.  Oh , this is not the World we want to live in. For those who have to say here, This is the real world , May I ask who made it this way? Its we humans , right? So if we want , WE HAVE IT IN US TO MAKE THE CHANGE HAPPEN!  BUT , IF ONLY WE WANT!

Ok , there are lot of difference of opinions here  as well here ,but why do we not have the Courage to take action against the Wrong and try to make a change ? What is stopping us and WHY ? We want to get things done quickly (no Patience!) even if it may not have a positive effect , we have intolerance towards so many things and we are not wanting to Change(Non Adaptability!) . We so easily say, I am not going to change , Why should I ? Oh come on, if we do not rise up to take charge then we also do not have the right to Complain about things around us . We are the only ones who can solve our own problems.

If each one of us could once realize that Change will take place inevitably but to have a Structured Positive One we all have to stand up and do a bit of our Good work…. We surely will see things work our way.

A Stop Press came my way just before I was posting –

When I was young and free, my imagination had no limits. I dreamed of changing the world.

 As I grew older and wiser, I discovered the World had not changed, so I shortened my Sights somewhat and decided to change only my Country.

As I grew into my Twilight years, in one last desperate attempt, I settled for changing only my family, those closest to me.

But alas, they would have none of it.

And now as I lay on my deathbed, I suddenly realize. If I would have only changed myself first, then by example I would have changed my family. From their Inspiration and Encouragement I would then have been able to better my country and Who Knows-

I may have even changed the World!

I will go on and on with this but this is what I believe in as Tagore wrote- Where the Mind is without fear and the Head is Held high. Where Knowledge is free. Where the World has not been broken up into fragments by Narrow domestic Walls. Where the Clear Stream of Reason has not lost its way into the dreary dessert sand of dead habit. Into that Heaven of Freedom my Father… Let my Country Awake!
