The Army War Memorial - Shimla


The Army Heritage Museum in Shimla is located at a  distance of about 10 kms from the main city area and is about the Indian Army and its soldiers. In particular it is about the virtues of loyalty, comrades, fidelity to an oath,courage under stress, about their mind set and military thinking passed down from generations from over 5000 years.It is about the Regiments and the intense regimental pride which they so passionately treasure, about Indian Captains of War and contributions to their motherland making every Indian Proud.This collection of pictures is just a few of the many such information packets that have been displayed from the information on the Army Band, to Postal Envelops used during the war times to the coins and the list goes on. This Museum is along with the Golf Course of Shimla and is worth a visit with its breathtaking views

    This is one of the exciting place for the tourist that one can visit the historical place of army and their materials. This place is located in the Shimla that you can visit during your weekend.
